Smart2go is a great piece of map software for most popular phone OS and works with blutwooth GPS to give Sat Nav function. You can load the maps onto your mobile too so no more expensive downloads as with the the Google Maps Java app.

Hier works as a mobile client for the most popular messenger programmes that are about. Works pretty well and its free too. A more comprehensive application is Agile Messenger but you have to pay for that now unless you can find an older free version...

DIVX Player is probably one of the best players for playing video on your phone you will need SUPER to convert your video into a suitable format (see below). The only downside is the annoying sound it plays when you first open it!!

SUPER This application does everything you could possibly want as far as video goes and its free! Once I figure out the best encoding methods for the N73 and the PSP I will post them.

Google Reader has a Mobile Version too - so now you can catch up on all your latest blog feeds while your, well, anywhere, but probably on the loo acording to some research that I've lost...

This is a great application for encoding almost any widely used format of video & music to, er, well any other widely used format of video & music! Anyone with a psp, or iPod that plays video knows that encoding your films to watch on your portable device can be a pain and their are few apps out there that are free and good. This one is aptly named Super and can handle those anoying 3gp files too.

Its awesome! Select all your RSS feeds and then have them in one handy location - simply use your gmail account!
Plus it has a mobile version, so you can read the same threads on your phone, so you don't need to trawl through all different kinds of web pages on that tiny screen to get to the content you want.

Yet another shiny new Toy for me :)



This phone rocks - Ok, its not an iPhone, but it does have a dam good screen and I just downloaded a divx player for it, so when my new 1gig miniSD card turns up, i should be able to watch new episodes of Lost, Heroes and prison break which are due out soon according to here.
