Web Slideshows in XHTML

I didn’t even know you could do this, let alone how, but it’s beautifully simple.

All you need is the JS file and some mark up in xhtml.

The ‘incremental’ class allows elements to be revealed as you press the right arrow or click to move forward.

You can specify a footer and number the slide pages etc.. all like you would in powerpoint.

Skullcandy In-Ear Electric shocks: not fun.

Gemma bought me a pair of Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket headphones for Christmas which were gratefully received – they sounded great and they had a mic / button to control my iPhone. A couple of weeks later and they weren’t going so great: I was being electrocuted by my headphones! One of the buds would constantly shock me and then stopped working. Brilliant.

I sent them back, but the store didn’t have stock so I got a refund. A couple of weeks later I got a new pair as they did sound good and they looked cool – I thought the fault may have been a one-off. My new pair arrived on Sunday. Today I was electrocuted in the same ear again. Fantastic.

I had a little look around to see if this was a one off, but no, I quickly found a few others who had had similar problems with the same model, and a few who had the same issue with other Skullcandy headphones:

Well, thanks Skullcandy – You’ve been crap. I don’t think I’ll ever want to buy another product from you ever again. Now to try and get a refund… I definitely don’t want a replacement!
